Extension Project - Visitation and Environmental Interpretation in Teresina Parks
The extension project “Visitation and environmental interpretation in urban parks of Teresina-PI” is made up of professors and students of the Tourism course at the State University of Piauí (UESPI), Torquato Neto campus, and its main objective is to promote experiences of visitation in the urban parks of Teresina (PI), for residents and tourists, through the interpretation of the environment, being an agent of valorization and environmental and patrimonial conservation.
In 2020, considering the limitations imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the project has promoted its actions through digital media, especially through our Instagram profile - @parques_the.
Interdisciplinary Tourism Project - A Tourism of Possibilities
In a world of social and economic transition, tourism is emerging as an activity of greater expression and potential. Therefore, it is clear that hospitality can be a relevant differential when it comes to competition from tourist destinations today.
The Interdisciplinary Tourism project aims to promote the development of itineraries and experiences aimed at local tourism with a focus on the humanization of tourist experiences offered to the public and the redefinition of tourist attractions, since it is a market trend. In this context, it is expected from this activity that there will be a strengthening of the identity and belonging of the Teresian / resident in relation to local tourist attractions and greater tourist visibility, use and appreciation of these spaces.

The HAPPY-AGE GRISALHO TOURISM Program - STIMULATING EXPERIENCES IN FAVOR OF THE NEW TIMES was conceived as a proposal to promote, through tourist know-how, a “trip” to the enchanting world of discoveries and the exchange of experiences, cultures, emotions, flavors, charms and feelings, that this program stimulates, through mini-courses, workshops, lectures and experimental trips to stimulate a better quality of life for the public of the best age.
